This elegant timepiece utilizes digital-quarts movement to accurately tell time. It uses this technology to power features such as its 24 hour chronograph, daily alarm, and calendars. The Timex Womens 1440 then shows them to the user through its easy to read digital gray dial face that uses the Indiglo Night to illuminate your view during dark situations.
These wonderful features are attached to your wrist in an amazing package of a gray face plate, a pink and silver resin band, a polyurethane strap with a tapered profile, and a buckle clasp.
Aside from the beautiful design, the Timex Womens 1440 Sports digital resin strap watch is as durable as they come. It is made from an acrylic dial window, stationary resin bezel, and 35-millimeter resin case. The Timex 1140 is even water resistant up to 165 feet.

1 Star Decent looking, but poor quality
I was initially pleased with my Timex 1440 watch when I received it two months ago. Even though the button operations are different from and more limited than other Timex watches I’ve owned, it had the features I wanted (namely and alarm and stopwatch) and it wasn’t too hard to use once I got used to it.
However, after two months of daily use the watch stopped working. It is stuck at 7:20 p.m. and does not respond to any button pushes. I never immersed the watch and I didn’t do anything more than your average day to day living while wearing the watch. I looked up the warranty information for the watch and found that it would cost $7.00 to get the watch repaired or replaced – almost half the cost of the watch! At this point I’m not sure if I’d be throwing good money after bad by trying to get it repaired/replaced or if I should just give up and buy something else.
I would not suggest buying this watch – while it is an attractive price, decent looking, and functional, it just doesn’t seem to last. And while there is a warranty, paying half again the price of the watch to get it repaired/replaced seems like a pretty raw deal.

I really like these watches. I also own the white and pink one. They are sporty but classy enough to wear in every day attire. I just got this one after my white one was becoming a little dingy from running, biking, and swimming in it for almost a year. I like them so much I wouldn’t mind having all of the colors. Extremely easy to program with a lot of cool settings. Great womens/girls watch!
3 Stars Normal digital watch
I purchased this to have something for running and to do outdoor activities with, since my Gucci watch is not at all appropriate! I was expecting a standard digital watch which is what I got. A little on the flimsy side I guess, but it was very inexpensive. Setting the time was a little tricky for some reason, even when following the instructions. I haven’t used the stopwatch feature on it yet. I would say that if you have very small wrists you may need to punch another hole in the band. I have mine on the smallest hole and although I have small-ish wrists, I’m not petite by any means.
4 Stars good watch
Pretty much what I expected, having owned Timex sports watches before. Clear display, 24-hour clock option (though I couldn’t find it until it WAS afternoon). Light and time display size are large enough that I can see the time without my glasses. Instructions are clear and operation is fairly intuitive without them.
Grey band is a nice neutral. The only real downside: the plastic is hot, which doesn’t help during exercise. I find myself removing the watch from my wrist sometimes. And it’s a special band so I can’t even replace it.
