Famous Brands in Running Watches

While there are a variety of running watches in the market, you would realize that plenty of them are actually just different models that come from the same brands. This is because there are quite a number of brands who are really well known and famous when it comes to running watches. The products from these brands are the ones that are mostly purchased or tried out by serious runners.
Some of the famous brands in running watches include:
Nike –
This brand is probably one of the more recognizable names when it comes to anything sports-related thanks to their famous shoes and athletic gear. However, aside from shoes, Nike also has also come up with a series of running watches that aim to provide runners with the training data that they need.
Their most famous line would probably be the Nike Triax. People who like these running watches say that they enjoy the simple and easy to use features of the running watch as well as its sleek and sporty design.
Polar –
Another brand that is famous for their running watch would be Polar. Polar is especially known for their RS line or RS series of watches, specifically the Polar RS300X running watch.
The most common compliment that is given to the Polar line of running watches is the inclusion of innovative training features such as the Polar Owncal and Polar Ownzone capabilities. These two features are able to give you a customized training that is centered on your own body’s capabilities.
Garmin –
One of the more popular brands for running watches, espceilly those that are GPS enabled is the Garmin Forerunner series. The Garmin is popular for their GPS capabilities because the brand has already released dozens of GPS capable products even before they delved into the running watch market.
Their famous Forerunner series of running watches are lauded for their capability to get accurate data thanks to the great GPS features. Also, people would commonly praise the virtual partner feature of the watch as well as the customizable data fields.
Timex –
Lastly, Timex is another top brand when it comes to running watch. They are especially famous for their IRONMAN running watch series. As the name implies, the IRONMAN is built to be tough as nails and durable enough to withstand all kinds of training.
As such, most praise for the Timex comes for the excellent construction that the Iron Man running watch has that would enable it to withstand all kinds of running training.
Of course, the capability of the running watch is not dependent on the brand. There are some instances where a lesser known brand would be able to perform as well as a running watch from that of a famous manufacturer.
With that said however, there is also a reason why the running watches that were made from these brands have shot to the top of the people’s consciousness. While not a guarantee of greatness, you can rely on the track record that these brands have set when it comes to running watches.
