1 Star Decent looking, but poor quality
I was initially pleased with my Timex 1440 watch when I received it two months ago. Even though the button operations are different from and more limited than other Timex watches I’ve owned, it had the features I wanted (namely and alarm and stopwatch) and it wasn’t too hard to use once I got used to it.

However, after two months of daily use the watch stopped working. It is stuck at 7:20 p.m. and does not respond to any button pushes. I never immersed the watch and I didn’t do anything more than your average day to day living while wearing the watch. I looked up the warranty information for the watch and found that it would cost $7.00 to get the watch repaired or replaced – almost half the cost of the watch! At this point I’m not sure if I’d be throwing good money after bad by trying to get it repaired/replaced or if I should just give up and buy something else.

I would not suggest buying this watch – while it is an attractive price, decent looking, and functional, it just doesn’t seem to last. And while there is a warranty, paying half again the price of the watch to get it repaired/replaced seems like a pretty raw deal.

I really like these watches. I also own the white and pink one. They are sporty but classy enough to wear in every day attire. I just got this one after my white one was becoming a little dingy from running, biking, and swimming in it for almost a year. I like them so much I wouldn’t mind having all of the colors. Extremely easy to program with a lot of cool settings. Great womens/girls watch!

3 Stars Normal digital watch
I purchased this to have something for running and to do outdoor activities with, since my Gucci watch is not at all appropriate! I was expecting a standard digital watch which is what I got. A little on the flimsy side I guess, but it was very inexpensive. Setting the time was a little tricky for some reason, even when following the instructions. I haven’t used the stopwatch feature on it yet. I would say that if you have very small wrists you may need to punch another hole in the band. I have mine on the smallest hole and although I have small-ish wrists, I’m not petite by any means.

4 Stars good watch
Pretty much what I expected, having owned Timex sports watches before. Clear display, 24-hour clock option (though I couldn’t find it until it WAS afternoon). Light and time display size are large enough that I can see the time without my glasses. Instructions are clear and operation is fairly intuitive without them.

Grey band is a nice neutral. The only real downside: the plastic is hot, which doesn’t help during exercise. I find myself removing the watch from my wrist sometimes. And it’s a special band so I can’t even replace it.

5 Stars Great kids/teen watch
Good quality & functions for all the things my 7, 12, & 13 year olds wanted it for. Fun colors too!

1 Star Nice look, bad watch
I bought this watch cause i really liked the look of it and the color and the reviews for it were mostly good. I also needed a watch that was waterproof so that I didn’t need to take it off every time i went near water. One small thing that i found annoying was that when setting the time or alarm or anything, you couldn’t go down so if you go one minute too high you have to go ALL the way back around. One more thing is that on the timer, you have to reset it every time that you use it. For example, if I set 5 minutes on it, and then pressed start, once it gets down to 0, and I want to use it again I have to reset the whole thing. There was one giant problem with the watch for me. On here it said that it was waterproof. The very first time that it got wet for me it fogged up inside, and I couldn’t read the numbers as easily. About a week later, water droplets started getting in my watch. Then all of the numbers disappeared and now its blank. If you ask me, you can find a watch a LOT better than this. It may not look as cool, but this one didn’t work at all for me. I had it for less than a month.

Nice looks, but very unintuitive menus to change date and alarm etc. buttons very hard to press..leaves painful dents in your skin that feel sore for 10 minutes after..you get only what you pay for.

Pro’s for this watch: good basic sports watch, price is right

Con for this watch: the control buttons are very difficult to push (and I don’t have arthritis!) when you want to set time and date, use the timer, set the alarm, etc.

5 Stars Exactly what I wanted
Easy to use, ideal features, and exactly what I had come looking for (and then some). I needed a new sports watch, mainly for use with exercising, but also for everyday wear. So far, so great!

2 Stars NOT waterproof!
I recently purchased this watch for work as a veterinarian, and within weeks moisture began to develop within the face to such an extent that I can no longer read the numbers. Of course, the TIMEX warranty will not cover any damages/defects to the watch that are related to moisture. I do not recommend this product unless you plan to keep that wrist dry…!

3 Stars Decent watch
Decent watch for a cheap price. It tells the time, date, day of the week, and has a back light. The ridges on the band get dirty really fast though, and I’ve yet to find a way to clean it. Soap and water, even bleach hasn’t helped yet.

5 Stars LOVE MY NEW WATCH!
This watch is great! Wore it around, got tons of compliments! Only problem: a little hard to set time & date, but I eventually got it. haha. Well, I LOVE IT! DEFINITELY WORTH YOUR MONEY!

The watch is OK, nice for children but loses original colour after a couple of weeks (maybe due to exposure to sun, but…)
